Kamut sprouts… transformed!

Remember those crazy spider-like fellahs from a couple posts ago? Those were kamut sprouts, and we’ve used those to make some raw buns!

We mashed up the sprouts and added seeds and spices we liked. We also dehydrated some fresh fruit to make our own dried apple and banana pieces, and tossed handfuls of those in. The buns were dried out in the oven at the lowest setting for a couple hours, so that they firmed up without being cooked: no enzymes were harmed in the making of these buns!

They’re great with almond butter. Mmmmmm. Awesome breakfast and snack food. Can you guess what the white thing on the left side of the image is? Scroll to the bottom for the answer!
